Computer assisted Language Learning (CALL) contains a great variety of exercises for students to practice grammar, language functions and vocabulary. There are exercises thought for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. This program helps students enhance and develop their skills in line with language. This should be introduce to every student because I believe this would be a big help for them to improve their skills in language in an interesting way. And Yes! I am in favor in using CALL in SMC.
One of the various ways of learning a language, CALL (computer assisted language learning) offers ways that stands from the rest. It basically offers a powerful self access facility to the user, it also gives new role to teaching materials. It brings about changes in the teaching methodologies and importantly, it is a student-centered program thus the process of acquisition is focused on the learner alone. CALL also provides new programs such as the word processor, ludicrous programs and those especially designed for English learning. I recommend the use of this program for future language learning because it provides the comfort ability and privacy for the users. The special programs also gives automatic test results thus using CALL is the fastest and easiest way of language learning.
1) As we have come to an end in this 1st semester of studying Eng-26 which is all about the Structure of the Filipino Language, I indeed see its significance in my life. I have realized that I need to love my own language wherever I go so much so when I will be in abroad. If only I am gifted in singing, then I will be given a privilege to sing outside our country, I will never hesitate to bring the language I have because I believe that it is one way of showing that I am proud of being a Filipino. 2) A. Filipino National Artists ? Contribution to our country ? Works and Achievements B. Correct Usage of the Filipino Language C. Ways of Constructing a Sentence in Filipino D. People that were involved behind Filipino Language E. Latest Changes made by the Linguistics F. Criticisms of the Foreigners to our Language
I don't know where to start but allow me to say "Hi".. two letters to break the ice??? having you as my teacher NOW (and for the last semester) is really a HUMOROUS experience.. You give me this motivating factor to enter your class & even on the other subjects because I admit I find the other classes boring.. I wonder where did you get that "ENERGY" for making the class LIVELY and easy..
Easy in such a way that you know how to make complex things into its simpler one.. u also have that nice strategy in making the class environmental friendly? LOL
Thanks for making us laugh that even we do have problems through your jokes we temporarily forget those.. I will never forget your FUNNY facial expressions and your way of teaching that makes us almost fart.. winks!
Continue what you have started because i believe you will make history
let me just finish my message... . Sir E! I salute you with your dedication and enthusiasm as a teacher and a friend to everyone. Lucky are those who?ll meet and take time to carefully listen to what you can share in the future, then probably, they?ll have their own share of ?pasasalamat? for you sir. God Bless.
i didnt think my previews message wouldnt fit in this space =( and there are technical errors, the "?" are supposed to be apostrophes. but i think u get the message. too bad the space wasnt enough =(
Im the kind of person who usually observe others no matter who or what they are, before they say things that are intended for people to believe. It is a reality that the people we meet just comes and goes (except for our families) and our education is the only treasure our parents can give us that no one can take away ?til our grave. We don?t meet people everyday who can move you with what they believe in. And for those who?ll read this, let me tell you that to have spent the whole semester with sir E, in three different courses, was worth the while. I may be able to forget important terminologies in some of our classes in the long run, but one thing?s for sure? the things he taught us, like my father did? yes, sir E always reminded me of my father, The reality and practicality he views things and all of life?s matter are exactly how my father influenced me. And it?s not usual that I meet people like my own mentor. Seldom have they existed in this world, and even if they do, seldom you meet them along the way. Academic teachers don?t usually come in full packages, they usually tell you things what they?re supposed to, but sir E always make it point that students will learn academic and practical lessons even in a short span of time. Sir, I may not be first person that you?ve moved with your wisdoms, either am I the first to thank you, but really, a simple ?salamat? .. I hope would do.. for sharing w/
English 2 is one of my favorite subject this semester (no joke0. It had made me worked hard out of my own (I mean, I have to) on the activities, quizzes, essays, and especially to the exams as well. It also had given me enthusiasm to do well on the subject. Anyway, I didn't made it to the top finalists of the so-called 'perfect attendance" slot (let's be real, the schedule time is too damn early in the morning for ME to get up, LOL!). Obviously, I do come in class very much late, and sometimes, I'm ended up in being absent. Nevertheless, Sir Ed gave me such good grades and a big P (patience, OK?). Now, on the exam format thing...I didn't know that it would turn out really good. I mean, here's this internet surfing stuff to comply on the prelim and midterm with your bare eyes, fingers, and mindset.
It was a best experience for any exam I had tested. The format was somewhat unconventional, because you can have the long time though to really think about your answers before entering it to the keyboard. I do recommend the said format to the next batch of students in the subject for the near future. On the other hand, about our workbook...I didn't find any excitement and challenge on reading and comprehending to it. The workbook itself is somewhat complicated and not user-friendly; the outputs and the notes in it were not within my consciuosness (or should I say, beyond my "understanding level"). But I know.
